Easy Prep Beef Burger Patties
I love making beef burger patties. It is very handy to have on hand and it is very filling, too, especially if you pair it with side dishes or when you use salad leaves, lettuce and tomato when making burgers or wraps. It is relatively easy to make; however, like most dishes, assembling beef patties can be a little time consuming especially if you come home from work and need to prepare it for dinner.
If you are like me, I use a basic recipe which can be time consuming because of the extra steps required. I am referring to making patties using freshly minced garlic, onions that need peeling and chopping or fresh herbs that need washing and chopping. By using key ingredients, this recipe does not skimp on flavor and is easier and faster to put together.
The key ingredients are pantry staples with the exception of the minced beef and eggs. Try this Easy Beef Burger Patties and see the difference it can make comes dinner prep time. This recipe uses a mix of lean and regular minced beef but feel free to use whatever minced beef you have on hand.
Recipe: Easy Prep Beef Burger Patties
Serves: 4
Makes 8 to 9 patties

Ingredients:
400 g lean minced beef
400 g regular minced beef
2 large eggs
1 1/4tsp salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Dried Spices:
1. onion flakes, 2 tsp.
2. sweet paprika, 2 tsp.
3. garlic powder, 1 1/4 tsp.
4. parsley, 1 1/2 tsp.
Directions:
1.In a large mixing bowl, crack the eggs then add in the meat.
2.Add to the bowl the rest of the ingredients and mix well by hand. You may initially mix the ingredients with a fork and then bring the mixture together by hand.
3. Divide the minced beef mixture into 9 portions and shape them into patties. You can use your hands or a burger press to shape the patties.
4. In a frying pan, heat the oil to fry the patties, using the lowest heat setting. Fry the patties for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes each side and occasionally press the patties with an egg flipper to ensure that the middle of the patties get well cooked.
5. Use the patties as desired.
